The Picture House, in Pelham, NY, is one of the first silent movie theatre houses in the country, and is still functioning and celebrating its 90 year in existence with its renovated, state-of-the-art facilities, in presenting independent films and motion pictures from around the world, while also offering an education center.   As part of Italian Cultural month, The Picture House will host the WESTCHESTER ITALIAN FILM FESTIVAL running October 5^th – 11^th, celebrating the rich tradition of Italian cinema. Included in the festival is award-winning filmmaker Anton Evangelista’s UMBERTO E which is screening on Saturday & Sunday, October 6^th and 7^th, at 5:30pm (both days).   Following the screening, director/producer Anton Evangelista will hold a Q&A discussion with the audience.
